Ffordd Y Tylwyth Teg….. Way of the Fairies
Way of the Fairies is a booklet describing a walk starting in the Dare Valley and then around the Rhondda valleys. Walkers will see for themselves the beauty of the area and the charm and sometimes majesty of the many hidden places the route takes you to.
The circular walk is a marathon at a total of 26 miles (40 kilometres) with several climbs but is likely to become a walking classic as it becomes better known. The views and scenery are breathtaking. The walk may be completed in stages by catching trains from Ton Pentre and Treherbert and completing the walk from these points on other days.
Booklets are available with full walking directions and interpretive commentary from MartinsWalks@aol.com, price £5.
